Summer Stream 1 5x7  studio   Felt like I needed to slap some paint on something, you know, when you get an urge to paint after some frustrating attempts. So I started with this little thing just to warm up.

 Summer Stream 2 10x10  studio   The first one felt good so I tried to do it again with the same composition but different format.

 Iris Garden 11x14   studio   There was so much red I thought I would try to balance my color sense with some complimentary colors.

South Valley Park Summer 11x14 oil  plein air The start of summer found me doing the happy dance. Warm weather with very little wind and a beautiful spot to paint. Just love it when the day is great.

Georgetown 11x14 oil plein air
Wow was it windy in Georgetown. Not a big fan of wind. Can't fish, can't paint, can't concentrate. Arg It was fun to watch this woman come out and pick some flowers.

Colorado Railroad Museum 11x14 oil
The started out with sunshine and expected heat. Upon arriving at the CO RR Museum the clouds came out and flattened everything. I managed to get the gist of the painting but didn't feel good about its finish. The final details were added in the studio.

Carson Nature Center 12x16 oil
