What a beautiful morning. The weather couldn't be nicer and the location at Castlewood Canyon was just like I never want to leave. This pastel painting is a little larger than what I normally paint (12x16) en plein air (9x12) but the last one went by so fast that I thought I could try a size larger to enjoy the morning more. Also this is a really rough texture board so I will try a little smoother texture next time.
